Hours of Operation: Our hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 12pm, and closed County holidays. For after hour appointments, call the County Animal Control Officer at 257-0488, the City Animal Control Officer at 257-5605, the Lassen County Sheriffs Department at (530) 257-6121, or the Susanville Police Department at (530) 257-2171. The Lassen County Animal Shelter is located next to the Airport and across the street from the Superintendent of Schools Office, in Johnstonville. Our driveway is right behind the "jet fighter plane" displayed at the Airport.
